When you sign up with us, you expect the results to reflect those of highly trained professionals that know what to do. We deliver on those expectations by following a comprehensive process to ensure proper mulch installation. We thoroughly prepare your landscape beds before installing the mulch:

• We start with removing weeds and debris from your landscape beds, including foliage, branches, and overgrowth.
• Once the soil is clear and smoothed out, we lay a thick layer of mulch over the top of your landscape beds.
• We smooth the mulch evenly across your landscape beds, so it's completely covered.

Our premium mulch is an earthy brown that will make your plants stand out and add contrast to your landscape!

We Install the Mulch by Hand

We aren't afraid to get a little dirty if it means benefiting your landscape, which is why we install mulch by hand. Mulching by hand offers a more precise installation and ensures we put down the proper amount. Mulch needs to be at least 2-3 inches thick; anything less and your landscape beds won't reap the benefits, defeating the purpose, while anything more will suffocate the plants. If you want your mulch installed right the first time, then we're the ones for the job!

When and how often should you schedule our mulching service?

While we can replenish your mulch at any time, we recommend scheduling our mulching service twice a year — during the spring and fall. Because it's an organic material, it decomposes over time — which is good! It provides nutrients to your plants as it breaks down, but this also means that you should replenish the mulch; that way, your landscape beds can continue reaping all of the intended benefits. You can rest assured that we'll replenish your mulch as thoroughly and precisely as we did during the original installation!

Spring mulching prepares your landscape beds for the summer heat by regulating soil temperature and retaining moisture. Fall mulching provides much-needed protection for winter.
